Call Record: According to Samsung, Samsung Galaxy users can record calls made through VoWiFi mode.
Most smartphones these days have voice over WiFi calling option even there is a network problem. Now a new feature is going to be added to this calling mode. Many users have been waiting for this for a long time. Finally, Samsung has announced that Samsung Galaxy users will be able to record calls made through VoWiFi mode. This feature will be available in the latest One UI 6.1 version based on Android 14. But hopefully, this feature will also be available on older Galaxy devices in a few months.
Calls cannot be recorded on the Google version of Android. But other versions of Android UI like One Ui, OxygenOS and ColorOS etc have this feature. Now Samsung users can use this feature for VoWiFi calling. It is likely that other brands that use custom Android UI will also offer this feature to users in the future. Tech experts say that those who own a Samsung Galaxy phone running Android 14 should immediately update the Galaxy dialer app to version 15.1.66 or newer. It is good to say that those who bought the Galaxy S24 models launched in 2024 have the new version.
However, many feel that recording calls violates privacy. That’s why Google is moving away from the stock Android version. As a result, Pixel smartphone users cannot use this feature. However, many argue that call records also have some positive aspects. Call record is the only tool if needed or if someone wants to present it as evidence. One Ui 6.0 or older Galaxy phone users using the VoWiFi mode call recording feature is only a matter of time. Tech experts say, it is not possible to say whether other brands will bring this feature or not. It will become clear by next month.
