The section discusses KLK-12 as a novel target for the finding of new lead candidate against pathological angiogenesis using Bioinformatics methods. The fasta sequence of the KLK -12 protein (target) with a length of 177 amino acids is retrieved from the Expasy server and template searched by different servers (NCBI – Blast, Jpred, and HHpred). Position-Specific Iterative Simple Local Alignment Search Tool (PSI-BLAST) module used to identify the homologous amino acid sequence of the protein KLK-12 as a template.
